Niche marketing is undoubtedly a solid strategy to build your business online. No matter which industry you are in, niche marketing allows you to target a very specific group or market segment and tailor your products or services to their want.
Welcome to Niche Marketing Road Map blog, a place where I’ll pour in specific strategies, trends, analysis, tricks and anything about this exciting topic. I’ll share my findings so that we all can learn from them.
Before we get started, I want to make it clear that most of my strategies will revolve around content marketing. Simply put, I believe in the power of content to build business.
In the past few years I’ve been using content for just about anything related to marketing my business; from building solid, search engine magnet website, to presell visitors, provide educational material, build mailing list, spread the words using article marketing, and many more.
With that said, most of these strategies require some work upfront. Especially when you’re just starting out online, things are going to be tough and there are a steep learning curves involved in your journey.
Why am I telling you about this? Am I going nuts?
No, the fact is that like a traditional offline business, it requires a lot of work to launch a business. A perfect analogy is to launch a rocket. To take off, the rocket needs massive amount of energy but after some points much less energy will get it into its orbit.
People who claim that she/he can show you how to get rich quick online should be avoided like a plague.
You may have heard the buzz word about autopilot business. It’s true much of the work can be automated once a system has been put into place, but you still have to work the system.
Here are some of the things I am going to cover in this blog:
- Identify a good niche - Find a good niche where you will be happily work on. Determine if there are demands around that niche.
- Building a website - that attracts search engines traffic and customers.
- Monetization strategy - What options are available to maximize the profit out of your website.
- Competition analysis - Know what your competitors do so you can have a strategy to outdo them.
- Automation - Build your business on semi or full autopilot.
- Content marketing - How to leverage your content for almost anything related to your business.
Let’s just begin our learning by doing journey. I wish you the best!
