Getting Crawled via Press Release

Next time you release a product or have any interesting event worth telling, do yourself a favor by trying out this old strategy. It is still working well. Not only that, it gives extra benefit to you as well. Most marketers don’t realize about this yet. What’s the tactics I am talking about? Press release.
If you take any Press Release course or buy information product related to the topic, you’ll find out that they actually talk about this tactic. Writing good press release that journalists and reporters love is an entirely different story. It can double your traffic overnight. But the effect of posting an online press release is much longer than the first few days after you posted your PR.
A forum regular makes me posted a short blog post about this. He recommends PRWeb to distribute your online release. The paid version costs $40. It has gotten him a free PR5 link and doubled the number of visitors to his site on the first day.
A handful of marketers have just realized that having keyword related PR can magically rank it on the first page of relatively competitive keywords in Google and probably other search engines as well.
If you just started a new niche website and the spiders haven’t visited your site yet, try this. Find a newsworthy event and write a compelling PR. Even if only a few sites pick the news, you will get crawled in no time due to the inbound link from high PR site.
