Day 2 - Success Mindset That Makes a Different

I always start a process like this by reserving the first and freshest mind to prepare for the entire journey. I would recommend you do the same.
No, it won’t be a waste of time. Some of you might want to jump right into the first step. There is nothing wrong with that. I know how ecstatic you feel to start an online business. That is great and I share the same joy with you.
It is also at this time you head would start to spin with visions of how you would do this, do that, and probably a handful of others and bam.. immediate riches, buying the house you always have dreamed of, traveling in around the world with a cruise…
Sounds familiar?
Most of the time this feeling is what encourage us to get started in the venture. But little of us see what’s lying ahead. To tell you a small secret, this is one of the biggest reasons why people fail.
Experience shows that no matter how excited I was about a particular idea or business I am going to start — regarless of how good the idea and business — that initial excitement would fade in a few days or weeks at top. It is when I start to jump to another opportunity as it is available.
To tell you the truth, the excitement is quite an addictive feeling. But really, it is not actually what we want, isn’t it?
What we want and dream of is success.
And, success doesn’t come that way. That’s why we need to honestly tell ourselves all of these have to end. Here.
Success takes effort and nothing would come until you complete the entire process. Close to the finish line doesn’t cut it, leave alone quit in the middle.
How do we break this trait?
1. Faith in your ability
Believe that your idea and effort are actually going to pay off at the end. As long as you keep this faith, you will overcome most of the stumbling blocks. You will do what it takes to achieve the goal.
You may not know how to do A, or solve B right now but those don’t matter at all because when the times come you will be ready or find a solution to leap it forward nevertheless.
2. Focus on the end result
Imagine you have achieved what you have dreamt of. You can aim high, but remember to keep your goal achievable and believable.
At times, no matter how good the opportunity is, you will reach a point when you are going to be very tempted to stop what you are doing and quit. Probably jump to the next brightest opportunity.
This situation applies to all of us, even if we are doing what we love.
At this critical point, you actually must will yourself to move forward and keep working on the plan. You may even have to force yourself into doing this on a daily basis.
Different people tackle this differently. I find that writing down your ultimate goal and stick it in front of your monitor works. Others may have a system where they would place the tasks they have to do in their calendar so they get done no matter what.
Believe that all of these will translate to rewards if you keep it till the end.
