Day 1 - Set Goals and Prepare for Your Journey

If you don’t know where to go, it doesn’t matter which path do you take. On the other hand, if you are going out to a restaurant for dine, you know exactly how to get there. Even if you don’t know the way, you can ask others. The key is to know the destination.

For the same reason, you need a goal before you start a business.

By all means, aim high. That is how people grow beyond their limitation. I can’t agree more. But, in business and virtually anything in life, the goal has to make sense before you could put all your effort and focus on it.

I mean certainly you can earn six or even seven figures income from your Internet business. Many have done it. The thing is, if you never ever make a single dime from the Internet, that is too high of a goal to start with, isn’t it?

A modest goal could be as simple as earning $500 in the next six months. As long as you completely believe in it, and the goal makes sense to you, it is a good goal. Remember that you can always raise the bar once you have reached the first goal. Think of it like stepping up the stairs.

It is also important that you go through each and every step because they build on top of the previous ones. Getting a solid grasp of each step is not only necessary but critical to your success.

Get yourself prepared. Establish an environment where you can work productively. Block out enough time from your schedule to work on the new business. Inject some motivation into what you will go through in the next few weeks.

This plan works, but unless you take actions, nothing will happen to you and your business.

One of the greatest things about doing business on the Internet is that it is supposed to level the playing field between a soloprenuer who is working from the basement and everyone else.

The capital makes it different, but niche marketing make it possible for every netreprenuer to have stronger influences in their smaller industries.
